- finished the worldmap 'treasure' data system that i started yesterday. now when you look at the map and highlight an area, you can see the number of unfriended/friended creatures, the number of touched and untouched lilypads, and if the player has acquired the sight function, any godstatues or alpha repo robots that are in any previously visited area. should be very useful for players backtracking / going back to get what they missed.

and don't worry not all of the remaining tasks will suddenly be divided up into 100 fractional elements, this is just for one task, and most of these pandara-ra suggestions will be much quicker than these first few (i'm going through them in order of biggest to smallest suggestions of those i agree with)

How come you're doing the biggest ones first? My grade 3 teacher said to always do the easy ones first (in maths anyway).

that's a different kind of situation, because the easy problems are worth as many points as the hard ones. in terms of work load, it's best to get the biggest stuff out of the way first so the rest is easy stuff.

If it's your job to eat a frog, it's best to do it first thing in the morning. And If it's your job to eat two frogs, it's best to eat the biggest one first.
