- as part of the lilypad clustering task, i coded a new collision system for lilypads, one which is less cpu-intensive in most situations. however, it may be slower when there is absolutely no room for lilypads to move to (which i don't think is all that common, but requires time to find examples of where that could happen). the rest of the lilypad clustering task simply involves removing randomized lilypads from the game, and instead placing them all by hand systematically across the world, which will probably be a fun task, but time-consuming. hopefully i'll finish this task by the end of the month and begin august with 18 tasks remaining.
