The first Final Fantasy sequel that continued the storyline of a previous one was X-2, and now they're making a sequel to FF4, my favorite in the series :)
It takes place 17 years later.
Golbez's real name is Ceodore.
You play as Cecil's son, also named Ceodore.
Rydia still looks young for someone in her mid-30s.
Luca is a playable character.
