"A young boy (about 14 years old) approached me one day with a long & VERY soppy story about him looking after his 5 siblings, his father died, his mother is sick, etc. I didn't believe him, and said I wasn't going to give him any money, but would be willing to take some food to his home.
"He wasn't too comfortable with the idea, but I insisted (being even more determined to catch him out).
"When I entered his home (a small room), I could sense the smell of death. In the corner on the floor lay his mother, eaten up by AIDS. She was too weak to even take notice of me. Next to her were two small children , also sick. Two other kids jumped up when they saw me approaching with two small shopping bags. I could see the hope in their eyes that these were for them.
"I never felt so guilty & convicted, and made a decision to never judge another human-being again."

The primaries have been really interesting to me so far this year -- all three of them actually. This guy is one of the people running for the Libertarian nomination. I don't really think he's the best one, but I like this video.
