- figured out the bug in roomheight/roomwidth saving/loading which was appending an extra number to roomheight (which was messing up things) and made more progress in making roomheight and roomwidth editable and working in both game modes; it seems to be working okay now actually, there are no remaining bugs in it that i know of, but i also haven't tested it fully yet.

the next step, perhaps, is to make sure that if you move from a larger room to a smaller one that the borders are made 'proportional', so that you don't leave a big room and wind up off the screen in a smaller room. that shouldn't be too difficult to code, but time is up for today so i'll do it tomorrow
