at last, at last, one long month of avoiding writing about Tanzania is over, i can avoid it no more, because it's finished
despite it being a crazy assignment (writing a tour guide to a country i've never been to) i think it's one of the best pieces of writing i've ever done, better even than my septaweekly 'making a game' article, better than the heroic manifesto, better than most of my bkfiction, better than my half-finished tilde and the unworld novel, and about on the level of my review of xenogears and the better half of my bkfiction
i'm actually happy that i won't get credit for it (since it's ghost writing), it feels more like a gift to the world that way, even though it was for $275
EDIT: now for madagascar, which my cousin carrie started and didn't finish; let's see if I can finish it in 9 days.
