Mercola's not my favorite alternative health writer (he tends to make simple mistakes, his anti-Microwave article is a good example) but this is a nice video.

I'd love to take some of this information and turn it into a speech for the speech class I have to take at University. I'm not sure how to go about backing up all these claims with sources though. Where would you even begin to look for this information?

Probably his website might help (mercola.com) which reportedly has 10,000 pages of information.

And I'm one of those 8.4% who knew someone afflicted with a medical mistake. If the Air Force doctors had been on top of the ball, Dad's spinal cord wouldn't have been cut half way by his disk.

I remember that. Which is why it surprised me that you said you wouldn't listen to anything I said about pregnancy cause I wasn't a doctor.

You may have cared, but you didn't care to say it in a way that didn't imply I had little intelligence.

How can you be sure that someone is sure of something without implying that you were worried they weren't sure of it?

Adding the words "I don't know if you know it, but..." is a good start; rather than just barking orders at me and expecting me to blindly follow because I'm a witless wonder who doesn't need to see validation of your order.
